High Aluminum Fire Clay


High-alumina refractory mud is made of high-alumina bauxite clinker, binder and admixture. It is usually delivered in bulk dry form and water is added for mixing when used. High-alumina refractory mud has good plasticity and is easy to construct; it has high bonding strength and strong corrosion resistance; it has low apparent porosity and air permeability and good air tightness; it has sufficient bonding strength to combine the masonry into a solid whole within the working temperature; it has small drying shrinkage and high-temperature residual shrinkage values, and strives to prevent the brick joints from cracking after high-temperature use; the thermal expansion coefficient is consistent with that of refractory bricks; it has high refractoriness, which can reach 1750℃; it has good slag erosion resistance; and it has good thermal spalling resistance. It is mainly used as a joint material or brick joint material for masonry refractory bricks.
